Poilievre Motions to Rename Trans-Canadian Highway to Fem-Canadian Highway
On Monday December 8th, Pierre Poilievre filed a motion in the house of commons to rename the Trans-Canadian highway. The head of the conservative party cited concerns over public safety "with winter right around the corner, it will be hard to find anyone willing to plow a trans highway".
Pierre Poilievre believes this motion, part of his SNTG (say nay to gay) initiative will usher in a new wave of proud Canadian snow plowers.

The current minister of transport, Steven MacKinnon replied, stating "Having an openly trans highway is part of the Canadian identity which I am proud to represent. Canada is an accepting place, and I will still use the highway even if I myself identify as a male".
The motion is scheduled to come to a vote in early January. Until then Pierre plans on finding 2 word slogans for inconsequential issues to grandstand by in the house of commons.
